If you are at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States, read on to discover some of the additional benefits that can come your way if you're hired. We've also included important information about what we'll need from you:
Part-time variable hour staff are eligible on the 1st of the month following 8 months of service if they have worked an average of 25 hours per week. Full-time staff (Line Cook, Prep Cook, Dishwasher, Cleaner, Steward, Desert Line Finisher) are eligible 1st of month following 2 months of service. Staff members must continue to work an average of 25 hours per week to remain eligible for benefits. If eligible, you will be offered an opportunity to enroll in our medical, dental, vision, life insurance and voluntary benefit plans.
You will accrue PTO time for every 30 hours you work. Accrual rate and service requirement vary by location.
We offer 25% off all dine-in food, non alcoholic beverages and wholes cakes, Sunday through Thursday.
We offer flexible schedules around your needs. The more open your availability is, the more hours we can give you! We are open year round and most holidays, so you will be needed weekends, Sunday brunches, holidays and/or other peak periods. The Venetian Hotel location is open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
If you're familiar with Grand Lux Cafe, you know about our extensive menu and service standards - and as a staff member, you will be trained and quizzed along the way! If you're in a tipped position, it may take a couple of weeks before you earn your own station on the floor. But it will be worth it as you will be able to provide exceptional service to our guests.
Our pay periods are based on a two-week cycle.
If the position you are applying for requires a certification, license or permit, we will need you to have one before you start working with us.
We have very high grooming and appearance standards! If you're in a guest-facing position, we don't allow nose, tongue or facial piercings, or extreme styles of jewelry, hair, makeup or clothing. In compliance with many jurisdictions (and for the health of others) many of our restaurants are non-smoking environments.
